Austin Remembers: MLK app for iPhone and iPad

The “Austin Remembers: MLK “ App is an augmented reality experience celebrating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his influence on Austin, Texas. The digital mixed-media installation is supported in part by the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin Economic Development Department, the LBJ Library, Photo images licensed by Intellectual Properties Management, Inc., and Six Square. Special thank you to the Austin Area Heritage Council.

This app uses your devices camera, compass, GPS location, and other sensors to overlay the real world with audio video, and other interactive digital content.

The app will create a digital mixed-media installation at your location.

Otherwise, if you are at the Texas State Capitol building stand near the south steps look through your phone to see the interactive memorials. Walk around to observe the memorial from various angles.
